Fuel prices in 8020 Graz

The key to cheaper fuel in Austria is timing. Prices fluctuate throughout the day for various reasons. A useful rule of thumb is to fill up shortly before noon.

Why?
Austria’s fuel pricing regulation allows prices to be increased only once a day, at noon. After that, prices may fall repeatedly or remain unchanged, but may not rise again that day. Late morning can therefore be a good opportunity to find the lowest price of the day.

Digital fuel price comparisons make it easier to find cheaper stations in Austria. Preisrunter lets you compare current prices for diesel, Super 95, natural gas (CNG), premium diesel, AdBlue, Super Plus 98, Premium Super 100+, HVO and LPG.

How does the comparison work?
Preisrunter collects and analyses fuel prices from stations across Austria. Enter a postcode or place to see nearby petrol and diesel prices. Preisrunter also helps you compare grocery prices.

Not every station offers every fuel, and a current price is not available for every product. Prices are hidden after six hours without confirmation. “No current price” does not necessarily mean that a station is more expensive or does not sell the fuel.

The selection includes diesel, Super 95, natural gas (CNG), premium diesel, AdBlue for cars, Super Plus 98, Premium Super 100+, HVO and LPG.

The arrows beside each price show the price trend at that station. A green arrow indicates a decrease and a red arrow an increase compared with the previous price.

What does “x minutes ago” mean?
This shows when the price was last updated, so you can see how recent the information is.
